67 AC Replacement Contractors in Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee's Great Lakes continental climate drives very specific HVAC priorities. Heating dominates from November through March with frigid 14 F lows, while the brief eight-to-ten-week summer cooling season creates concentrated demand for AC Replacement in Milwaukee services. With 39 contractors serving the metro area and an average rating of 4.5 across nearly 5,800 reviews, homeowners have reliable options when their aging systems fail during those muggy July weeks.

For most local homes, a central AC (3-ton, basic) system costs between $6,160 and $12,320 installed. Those needing larger capacity or higher efficiency units can expect to pay $8,400 to $15,680 for a 4-ton mid-efficiency model, while premium 5-ton installations run $10,640 to $17,920. Wisconsin has no statewide HVAC license, so municipal licensing requirements apply depending on where the job is located. This means verifying a contractor holds current local credentials is a practical step before any signed agreement.
