75 HVAC Repair Contractors in Bend, OR

Bend sits at 3,600 feet in Central Oregon's high desert, where summers push past 90 F for weeks at a time and winters regularly dip below freezing with 20 to 30 inches of annual snowfall. This dual demand profile makes reliable heating and cooling essential from October through July. With 74 contractors serving the area and an average rating of 4.3 across more than 11,000 customer reviews, homeowners seeking HVAC Repair in Bend have solid options, but seasonal appointment slots disappear fast.

Service calls typically run $83 to $220, while thermostat replacements range from $165 to $550 and blower motor replacements cost $440 to $1,210. Oregon requires contractors to hold an LHR license through the Construction Contractors Board, which means they've completed either an approved apprenticeship or significant classroom and field experience before working independently. These requirements protect homeowners from unqualified technicians but also limit how many experienced installers are available during peak season.
